A reader was seeking my advice on whether he should take his stroller on vacation for his 3 month old baby. At such a young age, a stroller is useful to park a sleeping baby by the pool during the day or out for dinner. One way you can make it even easier is to use a stroller blackout (yes, I know we’re back to travel blackout again).
The SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe is from the clever people who brought you the Cot SnoozeShade. The easy to use design is a sun and sleep shade which fits all single prams, pushchairs, travel systems and buggies. I recently used it on the enormous contraption that I was wheeling around on my US roadtrip and it draped over and fit easily with no problems. As it folds up small, it is also easy to pack.
It is very versatile with several different settings. When fully closed in ‘snooze mode’, it provides the baby with blackout and also blocks 97.5% of the sun’s UV rays. Or you can unpeel a layer for ‘lookout mode’ which will give your baby a mesh viewing window, filtering 80% of UV.
This is a great travel accessory; picture yourself on that sunlounger reading a book, safe in the knowledge that your snoozing baby is protected from UV rays. The blackout will hopefully get your baby to sleep more easily allowing you to enjoy dinner out in restaurants and having them protected from mosquitoes on your evening stroll.
In Hong Kong, the SnoozeShade is HKD$399 and available from Bumps to Babes, Bibidada and www.bloomandgrowdirect.com
Jetlag & Mayhem was sent a SnoozeShade to review from Bloom & Grow Asia. I was not paid for this review and these are all my thoughts!
